     In 1970, Calawis Elementary School acquired its site through the generosity of Mr. Eleudoro Doroteo father of the former Barangay Captain, Honorable Reynaldo O. Doroteo.

            As the school started, it was Mr. Luis Coronado, was the first Officer-in-charge of the school with six teacher and it was then under the District of Teresa Antipolo II. The pupils and so with teachers spend classes under the shade of the tree. He was replaced by Mr. Victor Cahapay as Teacher –in-Charge who served the school for more than a year. Nxt to him was Mrs. Lourdes Leyva, followed by  Mr. Demetrio Cruz, during his time; San Ysiro Primary School, San Joseph Primary School and Kaysakat Primary School was then an annex of Calawis Elementary School. Later, he was replaced by Mr. Diego Villegas, who also serve for almost five years and Apia Primary was added as an annex school.

            Mrs. Lelita C. Celeste, took over the position from Mr. Villegas when she was promoted as Teacher-in-Charge, another school was opened then, the Binayoyo Primary School but it didn’t stay long due to number of enrollment. 2001 to 2002, Mrs. Olivia San Diego, took over with the position and she was followed by Mrs. Gloria Garcia and later Mrs. Joyanny Gutierrez, she then served the school for 2 years. It was then the time that Antipolo decided to separate from the Division of Rizal and established its own division that fade away with the creation of Division of Antipolo City.

            Mr. Romeo B. Rodriguez Jr.,  was then promoted as Teacher –in-charge of the school in vice of Mr. Gutierrez, the school then have only two annexes Apia Elementary and Binayoyo Primary School, he then served from 2004-2005. When he was promoted, he was replaced by Mr. Ferdinand B. Millan, as Head Teacher III. During his time, new rooms came and added to the BOD building, the New Ynares Type 2 Building and served the school from 2005-2007.

            Dr. Gloria A. Benedicto, took over the position as Head Teacher III of the school from 2005 to 2007, another building came during her time that was the DPWH Building, when she was promoted as Principal I, the Ynares covered-court was the constructed. Then came, Mr. Fortunato C. Quibuyen II, in his time the covered-court was completely built. He served the school for two years and the two annex school was given an item for Teacher-in-Charge, Mr, Esteben B. Casauy for Apia Integrated School and Mrs. Mercedita Fortunado for Binayoyo Elementary School. When Mr. Quibuyen II was promoted, he was also transferred to other school.

            At present Mrs. Ana Maria Garcia Rivas, a soft spoken lady and well-rounded manager took over the place of Mr. Quibuyen II; with eighteen teachers, two utility workers, one canteen helpers and one security guard.
